Tips For Parents
Complete all the glog activities. Now it is your turn to use your knowledge about the food pyramid. You are going to plan 3 meals and a snack for a day. Your goal is to consume around 1600 calories.
A. Write or podcast exactly what you will eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack. Remember to include the portion size and about how many calories in each food. Also keep in mind the number of servings you should have from each food group daily. Total the calories to make sure that you stay around 1600 calories.
B. Tell one reason why it is important to eat foods from each food group.
Remember to have an adult review your work before you submit your GLOG!
